The College of Wooster is a private liberal arts college in Wooster, Ohio. It was founded in 1866 by the Presbyterian Church as the University of Wooster, but in 1965, the institution (renamed in honor of its founder) severed its ties with the church, although it retains an affiliation with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The college offers bachelor's degrees in 61 areas and has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students.
