The Body Shop is a British cosmetics, skincare and perfume company founded in 1976 by Dame Anita Roddick. The company was one of the first to prohibit the use of ingredients tested on animals and one of the first to promote fair trade with third world countries. The Body Shop is now part of the Brazilian cosmetics company Natura & Co.
