Texas Woman's University (TWU) is a public co-educational university in Denton, Texas, with two health science center branches in Dallas and Houston. While male students are accepted into all programs, the school is known as the largest state-supported university for women in the United States. TWU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs in the liberal arts, sciences, health sciences, business, nursing, and education. The university has a student body of approximately 15,000 and a faculty and staff of approximately 1,800. The school's colors are red, white, and blue, and its mascot is an owl.
