Subaru of America, Inc. is the North American subsidiary of Subaru Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation. Subaru is known for its all-wheel-drive vehicles and has been a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) since 1968. Subaru of America was established in 1968 in Philadelphia and moved to its current headquarters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in 1986. The company markets and distributes Subaru vehicles, parts, and accessories through a network of more than 630 retailers across the United States.
