Strayer University is a private, for-profit university with its headquarters in Herndon, Virginia. It was founded in 1892 as Strayer's Business College and later became Strayer College, before being granted university status in 1998. Strayer offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business administration, accounting, information technology, education, health services administration, public administration, and criminal justice. The university has over 70 campuses in the United States and an online program.
