The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is a municipally-owned public utility that provides water and electric services to the city of Orlando, Florida and portions of Orange County. The utility was founded in 1923 and is governed by a five-member board of commissioners appointed by the mayor of Orlando. OUC has a generating capacity of 1,200 megawatts and serves more than 240,000 customers.
