The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is a non-profit biomedical research institute located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OMRF conducts basic and clinical research in a variety of areas, including cancer, heart disease, autoimmune disorders, and aging. The institute employs over 500 people, including more than 50 principal investigators, and has an annual budget of over $100 million. OMRF is affiliated with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the Oklahoma University College of Medicine. The institute was founded in 1946 by T.S. Painter and is one of the oldest and most respected research institutions in the United States.
