Husson University is a private university in Bangor, Maine. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business, education, health, pharmacy, science, and humanities. The university was founded in 1898 as Shaw School of Business. It was renamed Husson College in 1953 and Husson University in 2008. The university has a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1 and an acceptance rate of 84%. The university's athletic teams, known as the Eagles, compete in the NCAA Division III.
