EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education through the use of information technology. It was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Louisville, Colorado. EDUCAUSE has more than 2,300 member institutions and organizations, including colleges, universities, and corporations. The association produces research, provides professional development opportunities, and advocates for policies that support the use of technology in higher education. EDUCAUSE also hosts an annual conference that attracts thousands of attendees from around the world.
