Earlham College is a private liberal arts college in Richmond, Indiana. It was founded in 1847 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and has a strong emphasis on peace and social justice. Earlham offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in more than 40 disciplines, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching. The college has a student-to-faculty ratio of 9:1 and is known for its strong programs in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Earlham is also home to the Earlham School of Religion, which offers graduate-level theological education.
