Carthage College is a private liberal arts college in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Founded in 1847, Carthage is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The college has an enrollment of about 2,800 full-time and part-time students. Carthage awards bachelor's degrees in more than 40 majors and has a student-faculty ratio of 12:1. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Carthage has a strong tradition of athletics, with 24 NCAA Division III teams. The college's mascot is the Red Men and Lady Reds.
