  • Rosario, Argentina and St. Louis, U.S.A. have become Sister Cities. Sister Cities International is a nonprofit network that strengthens partnerships between U.S. and international communities. Rosario and St. Louis share many important connections, particularly in the agricultural sector. The agreement, signed in November in Rosario, brought together local leaders from the business sector, government and the innovation/startup ecosystem in both countries, including representatives from Bunge in North America and Argentina.

Did you know that Bunge North America is a supplier of feed ingredients to turkey producers, specifically soybean meal, canola meal and corn? These ingredients, used to make nutritionally balanced feed for turkeys, are sold to turkey producers all year round, with seasonal ramp ups during the holidays.

  • November 2 is the Day of the Dead, or Da de Muertos, a traditional Mexican holiday that honors the deceased. Family and friends gather on this day to pray for and remember loves ones who have died. Each facility in Bunge Mexico took part in the festivities, setting up an altar de muertos (altar honoring the dead) with food offerings including pan de muerto (bread of the dead). A notable product from Bunge Mexico is a flour mix called Pan de Muerto Mix Flour, which can be used to make this traditional sweet, soft bread. This product received the Taste of the Year Food Service 2017 Certification, one of the most important and trusted certifications in the food service industry in Mexico.
