Albany Medical Center is a non-profit academic medical center that provides patient care, education, and biomedical research. It is the only academic health sciences center in the 25 counties of eastern New York and western New England. The center has a 734-bed capacity and offers a wide range of medical services, including cancer care, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and women's health. Albany Medical Center is also home to the Albany Medical College, which offers undergraduate and graduate medical education programs.
