Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Client Project Manager to lead the successful onboarding and implementation of new client contracts from project kickoff through go-live.

As our first Project Manager of Client Implementation, you will have the opportunity to help shape the implementation function. You'll establish best practices, processes, and create a client focused function that delivers an exceptional experience while driving operational excellence.

Working closely with all internal and external stakeholders, you'll serve as the central point of coordination throughout each implementation, ensuring projects remain on schedule, stakeholders stay aligned, and every milestone is successfully achieved.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of new client programs, managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies from project initiation through successful go-live.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with client stakeholders during onboarding to gather, document, and validate business and operational requirements.
  • Assess and confirm alignment between client requirements and existing system and operational capabilities; identify gaps and required enhancements.
  • Translate identified gaps into actionable workstreams and coordinate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to initiate and track required development and operational changes.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across internal teams (Operations, Product, Technology, Relationship Management) to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities with external partners, including sponsor bank, network, and fulfillment vendors, ensuring completion of required documentation, approvals, and setup activities.
  • Manage program setup and readiness activities, including configuration, workflow validation, and operational preparedness for launch.
  • Track and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership; proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Ensure all required documentation, approvals, and operational readiness criteria are completed prior to go-live.
  • Support transition from implementation to ongoing operations, ensuring a smooth handoff to Operations Support and Relationship Management teams.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including requirements, decisions, timelines, and deliverables, to support transparency and future reference.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-8 years of experience in project management, client implementation, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
  • Payments
  • Card programs
  • Financial services
  • Banking
  • Financial technology (FinTech)
