At PwC, you will deliver comprehensive support to clients by leading end-to-end organizational, talent, and HR transformation initiatives that align with the organization's overall strategy. You will leverage a wide range of expertise in organizational and workforce consulting, covering areas such as workforce strategy, HR transformation, payroll transformation, talent development, job architecture, skill assessment, rewards, and organizational design to enhance both employee experience and organizational performance.

  • Partner with skilled PwC professionals on high-profile client engagements
  • Contribute to a variety of HR engagements covering topics that include but not limited to HR Strategy, Payroll Strategy & Transformation, Organization Design, Function Effectiveness and Design, HR Technology Roadmap and Implementation (including SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dayforce, ADP, other Payroll technologies), Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, Job Architecture, Skills Management, Integrated Talent Management, and AI in HR
  • Utilize deep knowledge of future of work trends, job architecture, and skills redesign to drive impactful organizational initiatives
  • Utilize deep knowledge of Payroll technology, processes and operating models to drive payroll efficiency and effectiveness
  • Draw on hands-on experience with AI in HR and Payroll to create innovative products, accelerators, and methodologies that define the future of HR and Payroll in the Agentic AI era
  • Deliver actionable insights based on research and assessments regarding AI's influence on the evolving job landscape
  • Helping manage engagement economics, deliver high-quality work, and ensure delivery excellence
  • Be actively involved in a wide range of business development activities to help identify opportunities with new/existing clients in collaboration with account leads
  • Keeping up to date on trends across the people and change landscape, sharing insights, and contributing to thought leadership
  • Contribute to the development of your own and the team's technical acumen locally, nationally and globally as part of our network

  • Considerable years of relevant professional consulting experience delivering HR and Payroll transformation services across a variety of industries


  • Demonstrated experience contributing to HR and Payroll function transformation efforts in consulting or in-house HR/Payroll roles


  • Foundational understanding of job architecture, skills architecture and job leveling and rewards


  • Demonstrated experience in one or more Workforce Transformation areas, such as:
    • Operating model and organization design development and implementation


    • Payroll process design, payroll processing, payroll technology implementation and payroll operating model design and implementation


    • Conducting job architecture, job leveling, skills frameworks design, and job profile development, with the ability to support the design and implementation of these frameworks in complex organizations


    • Proven background in the strategy, design, and implementation of HR and Talent Intelligence systems and processes


    • Proposal development and support in business development efforts


  • Ambition to build technical depth and breadth across HR and Payroll domains, including exposure to cloud-based HR/Payroll technology implementations such as Talent Intelligence solutions or optimizations


  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to a wide range of HR and talent-related topics


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables that create sustainable business value


  • Excellent relationship-building skills, demonstrating openness and passion for client service excellence.


  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively in complex and evolving environments


  • Contribution to the development of thought leadership or innovative solutions in the HR and talent management space


  • Strong communicator and storyteller with an ability to simplify complex messages

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
