What You'll Do- Serve as the primary systems lead and subject matter expert for the new hire experience, partnering across Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, IT, and People & Culture teams to design, configure, optimize, and scale the end-to-end preboarding and onboarding journey from offer acceptance through Day 30.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize assigned Workday modules to support end-to-end HR processes.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and independently manage assigned work, priorities, and deliverables.
- Support Workday configurations across areas such as Business Process Framework, security, eligibility rules, notifications, reporting, and dashboards.
- Build and maintain advanced Workday reports, including calculated fields, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Support process design and recommend scalable solutions that align with enterprise governance and best practices.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional system solutions in partnership with HR and IT.
- Ensure solutions adhere to architectural, security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards for sustainability and scalability.
- Participate in release management, testing, data audits, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Evaluate digital and AI-enabled solutions by assessing readiness, data integrity, integration capability, and operational viability.
- Help improve teammate and manager experiences by designing simple, clear, and consistent HR system interactions.
- Apply strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, including hire, movement, compensation, absence, and separation.
- Support workforce data accuracy, consistency, and governance to enable reporting, compliance, and decision-making.
- Independently explore, evaluate, and apply digital capabilities across varied domains and systems.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of Workday or HRIS experience.
- Workday configuration experience across modules, including Business Process Framework, security, eligibility rules, and notifications.
- Advanced Workday reporting knowledge, including calculated fields, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Foundational knowledge of integrations, EIBs, and data audits, with awareness of broader system impacts.
- Understanding of release management, testing standards, and system governance best practices.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into system designs while helping HR partners understand trade-offs, constraints, and implications.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and how they connect to HR systems.
- Ability to balance system capability, people experience, operational feasibility, and enterprise standards.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and data governance.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and how they can support HR systems, workforce operations, AI adoption, and enterprise scalability.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively across HR, IT, and business teams.
Preferred- Workday Pro Certification or progress toward certification.
- Experience supporting Workday solutions in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience supporting onboarding, preboarding, talent acquisition, or employee lifecycle processes within Workday.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, IT, business leaders, and operational teams.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, automation, AI-enabled tools, or workforce technology optimization.
- Experience supporting workforce data governance, HR reporting, and enterprise-wide system improvements.
