Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday subject matter expert for Benefits, managing vendor integrations and projects.

  • Assist in system configuration, user acceptance testing, and defect management.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving workflows and data security through continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Generate reports and HR metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Research and resolve technical and functional issues within Workday.
  • Support updates and releases in Workday, including user training on enhancements.

Full Job Description
LOCATION:
  • Onsite in Charlotte, NC.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Serve as Workday subject matter expert for Benefits, managing vendor integrations and special projects (e.g., Open Enrollment).
  • Support Benefits, Absence, and Payroll areas with process improvements, troubleshooting, and operational support.
  • Collaborate with vendors, HRIS, and payroll teams to resolve data discrepancies and integration issues.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing (UAT, vendor testing), and defect management.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, improving workflows, integrations, and data security.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, requirements, technical specs, and projects.
  • Generate and maintain reports and HR metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues within Workday.
  • Support Workday updates and releases, including testing and educating users on enhancements.
  • Provide training and guidance to HRIS and other support teams.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment.
  • 3+ years of post-implementation Workday configuration/implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM Core, Benefits, Recruiting, and Absence modules.
