Work you'll do

As a Workday Financials Senior Manager, you will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
  • Client Management: Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance in the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of consulting or industry experience
  • 8+ years of financials ERP project implementations with a minimum of 4 years of Workday Financials ERP
  • 4+ years of experience overseeing multiple project teams
  • 4+ years of experience in generating new client business
  • A minimum of 6 full life cycle Workday or comparable financials ERP implementations from planning to go-live
  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent professional experience implementing Workday Financials
  • Workday certification or successfully completing relevant Workday certification upon joining
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
  • Functional knowledge of Workday ERP processes and systems
  • 5+ years of experience engaging and managing senior and executive level client relationships
  • 8 years Demonstrated experience leading the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training within large enterprise environments
  • Advanced degree in the area of specialization
Wages + Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,400 to $322,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
