As a Workday consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing a broad range of consulting services across various Workday applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Workday applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

A career within the Application Evolution Services (AES/AMS) Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximize the value of their Cloud Solutions investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive evolution and managed services across PwC's Cloud applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions.

As a Senior Associate in managed services, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from assessment, development through to deployment. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Requirements gathering: Understand customers' integration requirements and how they align to Workday functionality


  • Integration build: Utilize Workday Connectors, Studio and Reports to build integrations to legacy systems and external suppliers


  • Testing: Helping the customer and systems team test your Workday integrations


  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate customers on the Workday solution, provide technical expertise during client design workshops


  • Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner


  • Share and collaborate effectively with others and build and maintain an internal and external network


  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise


  • Handle, manipulate, and analyse data and information responsibly.


  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures and keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism


  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials produced


  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms and uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

  • HR, Finance or technology background is a plus


  • Understanding of what functional components are core to HR or Finance systems


  • Understanding of system implementation and technical support concepts


  • Creation of documentation and training materials


  • Understanding of how to effectively conduct knowledge transfer and understanding of Object models or RDBMS models


  • Experience working in Development Frameworks (eg: Eclipse) and ERP


  • Experience developing integrations with Cloud Platforms (Workday preferred but Salesforce or others)

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
