Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Workday HCM modules including HR, Compensation, and Talent Management
  • Serve as escalation point for troubleshooting Workday support issues
  • Manage business processes, security roles, and overall tenant configuration
  • Build reports, dashboards, and support data loads and corrections using EIB
  • Coordinate Workday release cycles, including testing and communication
  • Gather requirements and configure solutions following SDLC practices
  • Track and manage work in Jira or ITSM tools while maintaining documentation
  • Collaborate with external partners on projects and system enhancements
  • Monitor Workday integrations, troubleshooting failures and validating data

Full Job Description
A Day in The Life
As a Workday HCM Analyst at Mo' Bettahs you will own the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of our Workday Human Capital Management system. You will work alongside People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and IT to keep Workday running smoothly for Team Members across the organization, troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and partnering with external partners on projects and escalations. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, careful attention to detail, a service minded approach to supporting users, clear communication with technical and non-technical partners, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do:
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Reporting, and Recruiting.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Workday support issues, troubleshooting and resolving requests submitted by Team Members and leaders.
  • Maintain business processes, security roles and groups, condition rules, notifications, and overall tenant configuration.
  • Build and maintain reports, calculated fields, and dashboards, and support mass data loads and corrections using EIB and related tools.
  • Manage Workday release cycles, including reviewing release notes, assessing impact, coordinating testing in Sandbox Preview, and communicating changes to affected teams.
  • Gather requirements from People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and IT partners, then design, configure, test, and deploy solutions following established SDLC practices.
  • Track and manage work in Jira or a comparable ITSM tool, maintaining clear status, documentation, and communication throughout.
  • Collaborate with external implementation partners and vendors on projects, escalations, and system enhancements.
  • Support and monitor Workday integrations, including troubleshooting failures and validating data flowing to and from downstream systems.
  • Maintain data integrity and system security, supporting periodic access reviews, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Create and maintain configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and job aids for system users.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve system efficiency, and bring recommendations forward proactively.


What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology, human resources, business administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience required
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Working experience with ITSM tools such as Jira, or like systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent user support and improving system efficiency
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners
  • Maintaining an elevated level of confidentiality with Team Member, compensation, and system data

  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday in our Lehi, UT office
  • 3 years in Workday HCM system administration preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of software developer experience preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position requires qualified individuals to see, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 30 pounds; bend, stoop, and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
