Workday AI Transformation Practice Leader
Solution Architect II - Enterprise Solutions
UST is searching for a Workday AI Transformation Practice Leader with proven experience building or leading practice-level initiatives, programs, or offerings.
The opportunity:
• Practice Strategy & Leadership
• Define and lead the AI Transformation strategy for the Workday practice
• Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI across sales, delivery, and internal operations
• Establish a roadmap for AI-enabled capabilities and offerings
• Sales & Go-To-Market Enablement
• Partner with sales and leadership to position AI in client conversations, proposals, and demos
• Develop AI-driven offerings and accelerators that enhance our Workday services
• Support pursuits by translating AI capabilities into clear business value for clients
• Advise clients on how to leverage AI within the Workday ecosystem and partner landscape, including tools such as:
• Workday Sana
• Paradox
• HiredScore
• Evisort
• AI Capability & Delivery Enablement
• Build and scale AI-enabled delivery capabilities, including:
• Automation of repetitive consulting tasks
• AI-assisted documentation, testing, and analysis
• Intelligent insights and reporting enhancements
• Evaluate and implement tools that enhance delivery efficiency, including:
• Flowise
• Pipedream
• Partner with functional and technical leaders to embed AI into real delivery workflows, not just isolated use cases
• Internal AI Adoption & Efficiency
• Drive adoption of AI tools across the organization to improve:
• Consultant productivity
• Delivery speed and quality
• Knowledge sharing and reuse
• Develop and lead AI enablement programs, including:
• Training and upskilling initiatives
• Best practices and governance
• Responsible AI usage guidelines
• Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes using AI (e.g., staffing, forecasting, documentation, reporting)
• Ecosystem & Innovation
• Stay current on emerging trends across the Workday AI ecosystem, including:
• Workday's Agent System of Record (agent-based orchestration and management)
• AI-enabled partner solutions and integrations
• Translate new capabilities into practical applications and scalable offerings
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
• 8-12+ years of experience in Workday consulting, transformation, or professional services leadership
• Strong understanding of the Workday ecosystem, including HCM, Payroll, Time & Absence, Finance, and partner landscape
• Experience applying AI tools and technologies to improve business processes, delivery, or operations
• Preferred:
• Experience working with AI-enabled platforms in HR, recruiting, or enterprise operations
• Familiarity with Workday evolving AI capabilities and partner ecosystem
• Experience with LLMs, automation platforms, or workflow orchestration tools
• Background in process optimization, delivery transformation, or operational excellence
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-US
Compensation Range: $146,000-$219,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
