Responsibilities

  • Provide required reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) to assist management and execution of operations.
  • Streamline and improve Work Control processes and procedures.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.

Full Job Description
Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Work Control Lead Sr to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Job Summary

This position directly leads employees on the Ft. Belvoir contract in the work control area. Coordinates Work Control efforts with the PM, GFEBS PM Coordinator Lead, O&M Manager, QC/ES&H Manager, and Shop Leads

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages contract compliance to include planning and scheduling of PMOs, DMOs, OWOs and PWOs.
  • Coordinates with GFEBS PM Coordinator Lead on planning and scheduling of PMOs
  • Assist the PM, O&M Manager, PWO Manager, and Shop Leads by providing required reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) for management and execution of PMOs, DMOs, OWOs, and PWOs.
  • Streamlining and improving Work Control processes and procedures.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by PM. Reports directly to the PM.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
  • The Work Control Lead Sr. will be technically qualified in the field of operations and management and should have, as a minimum, two years' experience in O&M to include leading of a Work Control work force that is responsible to support a workforce for O&M & repair of all facility systems, subsystems, and selected equipment typically found in a Base Operating Services contract.
  • Will also have knowledge and general proficiency in GFEBS, Maximo, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other required software that is used at the job site.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state driver's license and insurable driving record.
