A Typical Day
- Lead and motivate the project management team by creating vision, accountability, and opportunity
- Establish annual division goals and monitor progress toward achieving them
- Drive project profitability through oversight of forecasting, billings, change order management, and project performance
- Review operational and financial reports to ensure division success
- Maintain and strengthen customer, supplier, and subcontractor relationships
- Support and oversee pre-construction, estimating, and proposal efforts
- Develop and mentor Project Managers through evaluations, coaching, and targeted training
- Monitor staffing needs and participate in hiring decisions for the division
- Foster and maintain the Warwick Mechanical Group culture across the team
- Ensure ethical leadership and professionalism in all business operations
Qualifications They Should Have
- Minimum of 15 years of mechanical construction experience
- Engineering license preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical system costs and budgeting practices
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and develop employees
- Strong understanding of project profitability, forecasting, and operational metrics
