Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with Secret Security Clearance eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Aruba wireless systems and enterprise WLAN design.
• Strong knowledge of 802.11 protocols, RF design principles, and WLAN troubleshooting.
• Proficient with network diagnostic tools like Wireshark, Ekahau, AirMagnet, Aruba Central, and ClearPass.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Preferred certifications include Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX), Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX), and CWNP certifications.
• Experience integrating wireless networks with firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize Aruba-based wireless networks for high performance and security.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and predictive modeling to assess RF propagation and coverage.
• Manage Aruba Mobility Conductors, Controllers, and Access Points within an enterprise environment.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms like 802.1X, RADIUS, and WPA3.
• Troubleshoot VLANs, SSIDs, and QoS policies for Wi-Fi deployments.
• Lead Virtual Switching System activities and provide guidance on network segmentation.
• Monitor and analyze wireless network performance, identifying capacity and security issues.
• Collaborate with security teams on wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams and security policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends to propose network enhancements.
