The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

NP/PA

Amazing opportunity to work as part of the multidisciplinary comprehensive breast survivorship team. The APP role involves identification and tracking of appropriate patients, review with patients and families the cancer care treatment summary and follow-up care plans that include steps for follow-up care and monitoring, provide a comprehensive, holistic summary of individualized resources to help survivors, providing sexual wellness care, triaging phone calls, urgent add on clinic visits, scheduled ambulatory long-term follow up clinics. The need for excellent communication skills with proven ability in exercising independent judgment and initiative as an advanced practice provider is required. Individuals must be flexible with the growing needs of the practice and dependable. The applicant must be compassionate, share a deep passion and interest for this patient population, and exhibit excellent communication skills. Being self-directed, having strong assessment and communication skills with the ability to multi-task are important for success in this role. Prefer prior hematology/oncology or survivorship experience as an advanced practice provider.

Nurse Practitioner

Require a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Physician Assistant

Required completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)

NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
