Responsibilities:

General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Caring for adult and pediatric patients undergoing life-saving therapeutic plasma exchange, red blood cell exchange, and stem cell and T-cell collections for our Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program. This highly autonomous, procedure-focused role offers a specialty pay incentive, a primarily weekday schedule with limited on-call responsibilities, and comprehensive training for motivated nurses interested in developing expertise in this advanced specialty. Ideal for nurses with strong critical thinking, IV skills, and an interest in technical, machine-based therapies similar to dialysis or ECMO, this position also offers opportunities for leadership through interdisciplinary collaboration.
