Wholesale Channel Parts Sales

In this position...

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for the Mechanical parts space, while coordinating efforts across the Collision, Mechanical, Retail, Ford Pro, and Field Operations channels to find synergies and efficiencies that grow the Total Wholesale business across both traditional and eCommerce purchase platforms. Working closely with teammates is a crucial element of this role, as you'll have regular interactions with stakeholders across the organization in pursuit of growing part sales in the Retail and Wholesale Channels.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Wholesale Dealer Engagement
  • Develop a Go-to-Market Plan to support and engage the Field/Dealers in strategic activities and investments
  • Provide coordination of support activities that promote parts sales, including sales blitzes, product training, Motorcraft University training, CPWD program criteria, CPWD dealer meetings/broadcasts, CPWD ZM training and acumen-building inquiries
  • Develop Parts business acumen to become a subject matter expert, synthesizing market intelligence and understanding Ford's competitive advantages and value proposition to support sales growth and Field training
  • Keep FCSD leadership informed of Field sales activities and performance

Wholesale - Mechanical Parts Sales
  • Lead strategic planning across the Mechanical space
  • Coordinate Dealer Channel Wholesale parts sales programs that promote growth and drive Dealer engagement
  • Manage the Mechanical Field sales force (purchased service personnel) and provide direction on focus and efforts
  • Partner with OEC and the eCommerce team to grow and engage eCommerce business via RepairLink/ PartsTech
  • Participate in monthly Wholesale Channel meetings with Field and General Office support staff to review and coordinate workload planning and business priorities
  • Act as tactical and strategic lead for Mechanical Wholesale, including contests and incentives, wholesale programs (new and existing), FCSD annual objective setting, business plan support (Market Area and Dealer level), parts marketing, paid search, and eCommerce business leadership

Primary Interfaces: FCSD Field Operations; FCSD Field Organization (Market Area Managers, Parts Operations Managers, CPWD Zone Managers); FCSD Dealer Parts Operations (CPWD and RIM Program Managers); PSN Program Manager; Collision Marketing Team; FCSD Finance: OEC, Alteris, One Magnify.

Secondary Interfaces: Aftermarket Operations Team; FCSD Strategy Office; Parts Supply; Logistics; Global Revenue Management; Ford Pro eCommerce Team (B2B and B2C); other FCSD functions as required

Qualifications

You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in OEM parts operations, dealer parts operations, marketing communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with data management, interpretation, and analytical skills; ability to mine data to drive insight
  • 3+ years of experience with creation using Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1+ years of experience presenting in front of dealer and/or departmental leadership
  • Ability to travel (limited travel required, up to 10%)

  • Motorcraft Market Representation Performance Tool (MMRP) experience
  • AI experience integrating into daily activities for efficiency
  • Prior experience supporting field/dealer-facing programs or communications

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
