Qualifications

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with a focus on geriatric care.
• 5+ years of experience in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
• Proficient in regulatory compliance including federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Strong understanding of wellness program development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee clinical operations of the nursing department.
• Develop and implement wellness programs collaborating with the Life Enrichment Director.
• Maintain organized and accurate resident files with pertinent information.
• Prepare and manage billing and resident charge reports.
• Conduct resident assessments upon move-in and regularly thereafter.
• Create initial and comprehensive Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for residents.
• Address and resolve resident and family complaints in a timely manner.
