Web Services Software Engineer- Network and Security Group
Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to partner with our network and security group to develop software, support ongoing projects, and develop code.
Job Duties
• Design and develop the software modules for data collection, storage, analytics and presentation to handle a large volume of data
• Lead or work with a team to design, develop, and integrate web services to support existing applications
• Rigorously develop, test and document code
Required skills & abilities
• Proficient programming skills using Java, Python, C++
• Experience in web development using Grails/Groovy, Spring Boot, and/or Python (pyramid, flask, django) frameworks
• Experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch), text analytics tools (e.g., spaCy), and/or Big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Solr, Spark, Storm) is a plus
• Knowledge of network and security is a plus
• Good writing and communication skills
Education requirements
• A degree (BS, MS) in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Electronic Engineering
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
