You'll work on impactful water and wastewater treatment, pumping, conveyance, and infrastructure projects that improve communities while collaborating with project managers, technical specialists, and industry experts across AE2S.
Responsibilities- Lead the planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Prepare and oversee engineering reports, technical memorandums, specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, permit applications, and construction plans
- Serve as a project engineer or technical lead, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting successful project delivery
- Collaborate with project managers to support scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning while maintaining a strong technical leadership role on projects
- Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders while contributing to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, sharing knowledge and helping elevate team performance across the organization

Qualifications
Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months
- 10 or more years of experience with treatment facilities, pumping systems, conveyance infrastructure, and related utility systems
- Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgment and aptitude among peers, management, and staff
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
Physical Qualifications- Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
- May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
