SEH is currenting searching for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our talented Water/Wastewater team!
This Opportunity:- Join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
- Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
- Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers
- This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the state of Virginia
Essential Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment or conveyance
Preferred Qualifications:- Four (4) years of previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects
- Previous experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents
- Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management
- Proficiency with design applications such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Revit
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including software
