RESPEC, seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Water market sector, located in Colorado Springs, Loveland, and Denver, Colorado.

QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
- Minimum 8 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure through reciprocity
- Experience leading engineering tasks and coordinating project teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
Preferred:- Experience serving as a technical lead on complex water and wastewater projects
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure
- Experience developing scopes of work, project budgets, schedules, and professional service proposals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience working directly with municipal clients and regulatory agencies
- Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences
Additional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $100,000 to $155,000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
