The Opportunity

Tetra Tech, an industry leader in engineering and consulting, is seeking candidates for a full-time Water Quality Program Lead position at NASA Stennis Space Center. This role will require daily interaction with NASA personnel and oversight of water quality compliance activities.

Your Role:
• Serve as the lead for the Water Quality Program, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to stormwater and wastewater management.
• Coordinate all stormwater and wastewater activities.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as mandated.
• Oversee sampling and analysis of water quality to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel regarding water quality issues.
• Conduct training and awareness programs related to water quality compliance for staff and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental compliance activities and ensure documentation is up to date.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field is required.
• 8+ years of stormwater and wastewater compliance experience is required.
• Knowledge of Mississippi environmental regulations is required.
• Knowledge of NASA environmental guidelines, systems, and processes is preferred.
• Current HAZWOPER training is preferred for this position.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing with the ability to drive to client sites.
• Must be detail oriented to properly document all environmental compliance activities occurring across the contract.
