Job SummaryWe are seeking a Water Engineer to join our Water Sector team in the Greater Toronto Area.
Make waves with a collaborative and creative team as you work on a variety of municipal infrastructure projects; provide mentoring and direction to junior engineers and designers; build and maintain client relationships, and hone your technical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Build and maintain key customer relationships and assist with increasing current market position. Support proposal process.
- Manage and actively participate in projects.
- Provide direction to the design teams throughout all phases of a project. Review drawings and engineering reports.
- Liaise with the various municipal/utility/approval agencies.
- Responsible for the financial management project, project schedules, and client communications.
- Participate in company-wide quality initiatives and improvements through quality objectives such as facilitating departmental-level quality plans and procedures.
- Mentor intermediate team members.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE): - Professional Engineer (P. Eng.).
- 5-10+ years of municipal infrastructure design for Public Sector projects in Southern Ontario & Canada.
- Familiarity with local planning/approval process.
- PMP Certification is a preferred asset.
- Working knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Creative and innovative thinker with sound technical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, associates, and clients.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work in fast paced, highly charged environment.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

Additional InformationTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,000-$110,000 for this position and local market.
