Step into Your New Role  

Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Senior Professional to provide technical leadership and support the continued growth of our water and PFAS practice across the East Division.  In this role, you will serve as a technical resource for water treatment and PFAS projects, supporting treatment planning, process selection, design development, regulatory compliance, and project execution. You will collaborate with project teams to deliver technically sound solutions for municipal, industrial, and private sector clients while helping maintain the highest standards of quality and technical excellence.

This position is available in any Kleinfelder office within Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or Maryland and should be comfortable supporting projects and clients across multiple geographic areas.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strong technical resource for water treatment, PFAS, and related water infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical leadership for the planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of water treatment solutions.
  • Collaborate with Client Account Managers, Project Managers, Practice Leaders, and technical staff to support successful project delivery.
  • Support project teams through technical review, problem solving, and application of quality standards.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, pursuit support, and client engagement activities.
  • Participate in professional organizations and industry activities to maintain technical expertise and support market visibility.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in water treatment, PFAS, water quality, water/wastewater, or related consulting projects.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer, and the ability to gain reciprocity or licensure in additional jurisdictions as required by the work
  • Experience supporting municipal, industrial, or private sector clients.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting and/or leading the technical delivery of water treatment projects, providing technical input and review, supporting proposal efforts, and developing practical solutions to water quality and treatment challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience within Pennsylvania for water treatment, and PFAS is preferred.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000.
