What You Will Be Doing:In this role, you will serve as a principal point of contact and liaison with the Lockheed Martin (LM) Business Areas, Enterprise Operations, and government partners on operational matters. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of concurrent projects for the CFI that focus on wargames, analysis and experimentation, integrated demonstrations, and modeling & simulation applications and capabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Participating in and conducting all phases of planning and execution for various wargame campaigns, experiments, workshops, and demonstrations, encompassing strategic, operational, and tactical level planning, management studies, assessments, and outreach to Lockheed Martin business areas, as well as overseeing the development, approval, and ongoing maintenance of plans
- Providing subject matter expert insights in conjunction with wargame campaigns, experiments, workshops, and demonstrations
- Participating in the design and development of these types of events through application of a planning (system integration) process
- Developing professional presentations, worksheets, and documents for leadership and customers
- Developing partnerships and events through fully informed IRAD/CRAD work

project/program manager and strategic thinker who shapes customer-focused solutions, with
hands-on IRAD/CRAD expertise and a clear grasp on unique IRAD/CRAD dynamics. Ideally, you bring
Space-related expertise and domain experience related to war-gaming. You excel at guiding complex programs from planning to execution using tools such as Microsoft Project to create, approve, and maintain detailed plans. Skilled at cross-functional coordination, you align diverse stakeholders, drive decisive actions, and consistently deliver results on time and on budget, while representing the organization to customers, teammates, executive leadership, and staff with superior interpersonal and communication abilities.
Further Information About This Opportunity:This role is fully onsite in at our Lighthouse facility in Suffolk, VA. An active Top Secret clearance is required to start, with eligibility for a TS/SCI. This position may require some travel.
Basic Qualifications- Proven/demonstrated project management experience including full-cycle project planning/execution
- Experience with IRAD/CRAD work
- Strong Customer Relations expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to comfortably and effectively present at senior leadership (business and military) level
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI
Desired Skills- Background in LM Space, SPACECOM, or Space Force
- Knowledge of DoW mission and concept of operations
- Knowledge of or experience with DoW future capabilities and concept development, experimentation, war gaming and analysis in support of the acquisition process
- Experience interfacing with a variety of customers to include military, inter-company, and industry partners
- Experience managing multiple disparate teams concurrently
- PMP certification
- Experience or advanced degree in operations analysis/planning
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
