Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and distribute staff functions to meet objectives
  • Verify incoming products and apply correct inventory rotation
  • Maintain accurate and updated product records
  • Develop processes to meet business objectives
  • Train staff on Good Storage Practices and dispatch procedures
  • Ensure compliance with established KPIs for Warehouse and Logistics
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP ERP and EWM
  • Complete inventory transactions accurately and timely
  • Supervise cleaning, sanitation, and environmental conditions
  • Ensure proper loading and recording of deliveries
  • Work with other Warehouse Managers to coordinate transfers
  • Stage and prepare stock for production departments
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Full Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will have a deep understanding of contemporary food storage, sourcing and distribution practices including, but not limited to, occupational health regulations, safety regulations, budget management, warehouse planning and administration, personnel management and supervision, follow inventory methods of FIFO and FEFO, and adhere to OSHA safety standards. They will oversee compliance with all company and regulatory product quality standards, food safety standards, employee safety and environmental standards, and enforces GMP's and execution within SAP ERP and SAP extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and distribute the functions of the staff to meet the objectives.
  • Verify the products that are entering the Warehouse and apply the correct inventory rotation according to expiration dates.
  • Keep the product records in order and duly updated.
  • Develop processes as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Develop exempt and non-exempt staff to meet business objectives.
  • Comply with the established KPIs of the Warehouse and Logistics area.
  • Serves as the site subject matter expert for SAP ERP and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely within SAP/EWM.
  • Ensure the order and control of inventories, according to what is established in the procedures.
  • Efficiently use the company's resources to guarantee the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Verify that the storage, packaging, and dispatch activities are carried out in an adequate manner, according to what is indicated in the respective procedures.
  • Properly load and record including taking pictures of every external delivery for verification purposes.
  • Supervise the cleaning, sanitation, and appropriate environmental conditions for the products.
  • Train the personnel under their charge on Good Storage Practices and Good practices in the dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with special product organization requirements.
  • Understands, coaches and upholds all GMP and safety SOP's and Procedures.
  • Ensure that warehouse personnel comply with established procedures for the protection of occupational safety and products.
  • Works with other Warehouse Managers to coordinate transfers between all locations.
  • Stage and prep all stock for production departments.
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.


What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse/Sanitation Manager, overseeing multiple locations.
  • SAP ERP, EWM knowledge required
  • Cycle count/inventory management experience
  • Fresh food experience preferred.
  • Understanding of GMP, HACCP, SSOP and Food Safety Standards
  • Prior forklift experience, certification required. Stand up forklift experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Manages time effectively.
  • Flexibility concerning hours & shifts to accommodate a cyclical business with 24/7 operations.
  • Comfortable with technology (e.g. navigating a computer and iPhone App).
  • Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes of supplies.
  • Demonstrates solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work hard and get your hands dirty at a fast-growing start-up.


Salary Range: $85,000.00- $120,000.00 annually + benefits + bonus

Compensation within this salary range is dependent upon the candidate's experience, education, and relevant qualifications
