Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will lead OneSource Supply Solutions in Warehouse operations in our Santa Fe Springs location. This position will facilitate a standard for CDC operations, logistics and will oversee cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and delivery consistency. The position is expected to fully understand the distribution center processes in order to proficiently supervise and lead distribution center activities. Activities include those related to receiving, storing, picking, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure efficient and accurate distribution center operations and material.

Annual Salary Range: $86,000 - $130,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following; other duties may be assigned)
• Manage a team of distribution center employees.
• Responsible for overall direction, scheduling, coordination and evaluation of distribution center.
• Responsible for maintenance of facilities, product handling equipment and inventory warehousing control systems, manual or automated .
• Responsible for interviewing and training employees.
• Plan, assigns direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees as necessary, address complaints and resolve problems.
• Schedule drivers' deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ensure machinery is in working condition.
• Coordinate with management and sales to meet customer expectations.
• Track customer complaints, question and inventory problems presented by branch personnel. Monitor error rates and customer complaints. Develop and implement solutions to improve performance.
• Maintain liaison with customers (internal and external) and other related persons to communicate information related to deliveries, irregularities in shipments, shipment delays, and other related matters.
• Coordinate and participate in special and scheduled distribution center material inventories as required.
• Implement changes in procedures as needed to ensure stock is safeguarded, stored and picked accurately. This includes best practices in packing correctly and shipping accurately, using insurance as appropriate. For example, forklift users must be trained and certified. Make the distribution center a safe, respectful and clean place to work.
• Individual is directly responsible for managing the work of the distribution center team.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
• Industry safety, facility and lease experience;
• Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
• 3 - 5 years' of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct manager of a unit, section, group or department involving responsibility for results in terms of cost, methods and personnel. Full accountability for hiring, discipline, discharge, performance reviews, team development, salary administration, etc.

Salary Description

$86,000 - $134,000 annual + bonus
