Description

The Role: Warehouse Manager - Operations & Systems Optimization

Who You Are:

You are an experienced Warehouse Manager well versed with leading the strategic optimization of daily operations. You have a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, utilizing them to establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be responsible for transforming our warehouse into a high-throughput, accurate, and safe environment by automating processes and optimizing workflow.

What You'll Do:
  • Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs (e.g., Dock-to-Stock time, Order Picking Accuracy, Perfect Order Rate, Inventory Turnover) using data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
  • Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement - apply DMAIC principles to eliminate waste, optimize slotting, and enhance picking/packing workflows.
  • Oversee daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure >99% accuracy rates.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct audits/cycle counts, and reduce shrinkage by establishing, and adhering to, strict inventory control procedures/processes.
  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff. Enforce OSHA regulations and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Work with procurement, logistics, and service teams to align warehouse operations with overall business goals, ensuring OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) performance.
  • Lead the integration of WMS/ERP upgrades, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing (UAT), data migration, and go-live support.
  • Effectively communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2+ years specifically in managerial role.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred.
  • CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or similar professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience leading WMS or ERP implementation projects (e.g., HighJump, SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles; certification (Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
  • High proficiency in data analysis, KPI reporting, and developing dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel, WMS analytics).
  • Ability to manage, train, and coach warehouse employees, including during change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Supply chain and logistics best practices.
