We are searching for a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for training and development of warehouse staff, efficiency of warehouse operations and overall divisional warehouse functions.
Responsibilities Include: - Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales.
- Support and enforce safety programs and guidelines.
- Select, train, direct and motivate employees.
- Appraise performance and recommend salary actions.
- Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel.
- Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of stock.
- Insure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded.
- Insure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits.
- Insure all DOT rules and regulations are strictly enforced.
- Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: - Prior management experience (distribution and warehousing environment preferred).
- Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications; Prophet21 preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs.
Compensation & Benefits:The pay range for this role is
$80,000- $83,000 per year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
