Clinical Director

Walden Behavioral Care

Middletown, CT

As the Clinical Director you will directly oversee all aspects of the PHP and IOP programs including, but not limited to: fiscal, administrative, clinical and marketing responsibilities, as well as team management and clinical supervision.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and manage program staffing, including the selection, development and supervision of staff. Walden Behavioral Care helps children, adolescents and adults with all types of eating disorders at all levels of care with locations in MA and CT.

Hours/Shift: Full Time - 40 hours per week

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 depending on education and experience

Responsibilities Include:

  • Promote patient care consistent utilizing the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and Monte Nido and Affiliates
  • Partner with the Outreach department on community efforts as outlined in the Strategic Marketing Plan
  • Clinical Case Management as needed


Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree, Psy D or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience with a psychiatric, mental health and/or eating disorder population; 24/7 level of care strongly preferred
  • Clinical supervisory and managerial experience with a budget in excess of $1M and multiple direct reports
  • Experience with marketing, systems strategy, psychosocial treatment strategies, knowledge of eating disorders, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavioral management.
  • Previous experience working with commercial insurance carriers including managed care
  • You must possess knowledge of team management, psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
