Full Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:

This role reports to the VP, Veterinary Sales Leader and leads a regional field sales team responsible for increasing CareCredit usage and credit submissions across an assigned region of the country. The leader will hire, mentor, coach, counsel, co-travel with, and train a team of Metro and Area Practice Development Managers (PDMs). This role works directly with the VP, Veterinary Sales Leader to execute sales strategies within a specified region.

This leader will be expected to set the tone for a high-performance culture, drive accountability, and deliver consistent regional results through clear priorities, strong coaching, and rigorous execution.

The Veterinary industry PDMs are located across the Western region and include both Metro and Area PDMs. Eligible candidates must live within the specific territory or region of responsibility.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage a regional field sales team of Metro and Area Practice Development Managers to ensure execution of national and regional sales and marketing initiatives and delivery of regional business objectives.
  • Coach and mentor Practice Development Managers through ongoing one-on-ones, field observations, and co-travels; evaluate performance based on assigned KPIs, execution quality, and the team's ability to deliver productive client outcomes.
  • Own regional performance for Net Credit Sales, amount financed per provider, and provider credit submissions (client credit applications identifiable at practice location level).
  • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and accountability for the team to ensure disciplined execution against business goals.
  • Conduct virtual and physical co-travels with Metro and Area Practice Development Managers according to standards and expectations.
  • Implement effective measures, recognition, and reward systems with the field sales team to reinforce performance and accountability.
  • Apply strategies, tactics, and best practices with the field sales team to drive usage and improve results.
  • Partner with the VP, Veterinary Sales Leader to implement systems and industry best practices that increase usage, drive applications, integrate products, maximize provider visits, and keep expenses within budget.
  • Partner with various departments, including marketing and operations, to develop materials and systems that increase Practice Development Manager productivity and practice usage.
  • Work in the field monitoring, measuring, and gathering voice of the customer to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide value-added analysis and reporting for the assigned region, and identify and implement ways to increase usage through Salesforce relationship software.
  • Work closely with relevant industry leadership to efficiently deploy Practice Development Manager support campaigns and priorities.
  • Partner with the Tradeshow Team to ensure proper regional coverage for trade shows, industry leadership meetings, and other events that support revenue growth and provider relationships.
  • Effectively manage team travel and expenses to ensure company guidelines are met.
  • Lead team efforts to support industry trade shows.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned including identifying and acting on existing opportunities.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales; or, in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales.
  • Minimum of 2 years of territory sales and/or marketing experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding results.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, mentoring, and holding sales professionals accountable for performance.
  • Proven ability to establish priorities, manage competing demands, and deliver against business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience driving change, improving performance, and executing through others.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight and some weekend travel.


Work from home, but must be located within, or willing to relocate to, the region, which includes the following highly preferred geographic area: Southern California.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Healthcare, sales, finance, and/or marketing experience.
  • Two years of experience working in a Vet or medical practice setting, particularly in an influencing role.
  • Private Label sales and marketing experience; finance business and industry acumen.
  • Proven success with launching, scaling, and managing new products.
  • Two years of experience in a sales leadership role, including building and growing teams, managing change, driving sales, and delivering client development metrics and imperatives.
  • Commercially intense with strong business judgment and a disciplined focus on priorities, productivity, and results.
  • Excellent client relationship skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers and needs.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including written, oral, and non-verbal communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • Proven ability to work remotely and independently.
  • Strong strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau.


Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
