Full Job Description
The Vice President of Supply Chain is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for developing and executing NABRICO Marine Products' end-to-end supply chain strategy. This role provides leadership for procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier performance while ensuring alignment with the company's operational and financial objectives. The Vice President will partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to improve efficiency, optimize costs, strengthen supplier relationships, and support sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy to support the company's growth and operational goals. • Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and materials management across all facilities. • Establish and maintain strategic supplier partnerships while negotiating major contracts and driving supplier performance. • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies throughout the supply chain. • Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to improve forecasting, inventory optimization, and customer service. • Monitor key performance indicators, budgets, and supply chain risks while ensuring continuity of supply and regulatory compliance. • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain leadership team focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Partner with the executive leadership team to support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and operational excellence across the organization. • Oversee global and international sourcing activities to expand supplier capabilities, diversify supply risk, and improve cost structure • Manage contract manufacturing partners, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. • Strengthen vendor management processes, including supplier onboarding, performance scorecards, corrective action plans, and long-term capability development. Qualifications: Required • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. • 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibilities. • Demonstrated expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, logistics, supplier negotiations, and supply chain planning. • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, driving cost reductions, and improving working capital. • Experience utilizing ERP systems and supply chain technologies to improve operational performance. Preferred • MBA or other advanced business degree. • Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or CIPS. • Experience in manufacturing, marine products, heavy industrial environments, or private equity-backed organizations.
