Vice President of Education and CRCE Accreditation in the Dallas, TX area to lead the Education & CRCE Accreditation department. This executive-level role offers the opportunity to shape AARC's education portfolio, strengthen CRCE accreditation operations, support professional development for respiratory therapists, and partner across the organization to deliver high-impact learning initiatives.
What You'll Do- Provide overall leadership, administrative oversight, strategic planning, and portfolio growth for the Education & CRCE Accreditation department.
- Manage departmental P&L performance, annual budgeting, performance metrics, project management, and team operations.
- Oversee full administration of AARC's CRCE accreditation system, including policy direction, quality improvement, and final approval of policy changes.
- Manage the review, evaluation, and approval process for accredited programs and institutions.
- Serve as a forward-facing representative of AARC with state affiliates, members, respiratory therapists, committees, specialty sections, and relevant external organizations.
- Oversee stakeholder relationships with NBRC, CoARC, CoBGRTE, LMS providers, vendors, and other partners supporting education and accreditation initiatives.
- Lead strategic management of AARC's educational portfolio, including on-demand, web-based, and professional development offerings.
- Partner with internal teams to align education offerings with industry trends, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and member needs.
- Cultivate and manage educational and programmatic grant projects in collaboration with business development leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and support the Education and CRCE Accreditation team, including hiring, performance management, vendor oversight, and contractor coordination.
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and provide educational business counsel, as appropriate.
- Manage special projects and other duties that support AARC's mission, vision, and values.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or higher preferred.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; additional NBRC specialty credentials preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in education program management, accreditation, or a related field, including at least 5 years in a senior-level management role.
- At least 2 years of experience serving as faculty or an adjunct educator required.
- Experience as an RT Program Director preferred.
- At least 3 years of project management experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of accreditation processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
- Proven ability to develop and implement educational programs for professional development.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, customer service, communication, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Salary range of $120,000-$130,000, depending on experience.
- Dallas, TX based position with a hybrid work schedule (in office 2 days, remote 3 days).
- Paid time off includes ample vacation, sick, and personal hours plus 12 paid holidays.
