POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:The Vice President, Investor Relations & Capital Markets is responsible for developing and leading Limbach's investor relations, shareholder communication and capital markets strategy. This executive serves as the primary liaison between the Company and the investment community and is responsible for building long-term credibility with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and bankers, while ensuring the market accurately understands the company's strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation opportunities.
The incumbent serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors, on capital allocation, financing strategy, shareholder engagement, earnings communications, strategic transactions, strengthening relationships with the investment community, and supporting long-term value creation. The VP partners closely with executive leadership to communicate Limbach's strategy, financial performance, and growth initiatives while providing capital markets insights and strategic communications support related to mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and other enterprise initiatives. This leader also provides market intelligence that informs corporate strategy and helps optimize shareholder value.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Investor Relations, Earnings & Financial Communications- Develops and executes the Company's investor relations strategy, ensuring consistent, transparent, and compelling communications with the investment community.
- Serves as the primary steward of Limbach's equity story, effectively communicating the Company's strategy, business model, and long-term value proposition.
- Leads the preparation of earnings materials, investor presentations, shareholder communications, Investor Day content, conference presentations, non-deal roadshows, ESG reporting support and other investor-facing materials.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other capital market participants.
- Manages shareholder targeting initiatives and expand institutional ownership among high-quality long-term investors
- Monitors investor sentiment, shareholder activity, analyst coverage, peer performance, and market trends, providing actionable insights to executive leadership.
Capital Markets, Corporate Strategy & Mergers & Acquisitions- Partners with CFO and executive leadership on capital markets strategy, capital allocation messaging, and valuation positioning.
- Supports corporate development initiatives by providing capital markets perspective on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic or financial transactions.
- Leads relationships with investment banks during financing transactions and supports debt and equity financing activities.
- Manages relationships with commercial banks and lending institutions.
- Assists in developing investment theses, strategic rationales, valuation messaging, and stakeholder communications related to acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.
- Coordinates with executive leadership and external advisors to ensure consistent communication before, during, and after strategic transactions.
- Evaluates strategic initiatives through the lens of shareholder value creation and investor expectations and provides recommendations regarding share repurchases, dividends, and other capital deployment initiatives.
- Provides ongoing insight into external market perception, investor sentiment, and emerging trends impacting the Company's valuation and strategic positioning.
Executive & Board Advisory- Serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership team on enterprise strategy, market positioning, and shareholder value creation.
- Translates complex financial, operational, and strategic initiatives into clear, credible messaging for investors, analysts, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Prepares Board materials related to investor relations, capital markets, shareholder sentiment, strategic initiatives, and capital allocation.
Strategic Communications- Ensures consistency across all external financial communications, including earnings releases, shareholder letters, investor presentations, SEC filings, and public disclosures.
- Partners with Legal, Finance, and Marketing to maintain best-in-class disclosure practices and regulatory compliance.
- Supports development of executive messaging, speeches, presentations, and communications for investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Communications to strengthen Limbach's brand positioning and thought leadership within the building systems solutions industry.
- Identifies opportunities to elevate Limbach's visibility through media engagement, industry events, and strategic communications initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Analytics- Monitors market trends, competitor activity, analyst research, and macroeconomic developments impacting the Company.
- Monitors peer valuation metrics and competitive market positioning.
- Monitors institutional ownership changes, short interest, activist investor activity
- Analyzes valuation trends, shareholder composition, and investor feedback to support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Develops executive dashboards and reports summarizing investor sentiment, analyst recommendations, peer benchmarking, and capital market trends including trading multiples, discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, cost of capital and investor return expectations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:- This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
- The Company's "Work from Home" policy is applicable to this position.
- Occasional travel may be required to investor meetings, Board meetings, conferences, or other business locations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:- In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
TRAVEL:- This position may require up to 25% travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Communications, or a related field.
- Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate development, capital markets, or related disciplines.
- Experience within a publicly traded company.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
- Strong financial acumen, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, capital allocation, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience evaluating mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to synthesize complex operational and financial information into compelling business narratives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience supporting industrial services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure businesses.
- Experience partnering with marketing, public relations, and corporate communications functions.
- Experience preparing Board of Directors and investor presentation materials.
- CFA, CPA, MBA, or other advanced financial credentials preferred.
Base Salary: $265,000 - $310,000
