Full Job Description
The Vice President, Growth & Field Sales leads the national organization responsible for driving new-patient growth across the Primary Care Organization. This role oversees Field Sales, Sales Operations, and Growth Partnerships and ensures the organization has the talent, partnerships, processes, technology, training, and analytics needed to achieve its growth objectives.

The Vice President partners closely with market leadership, marketing, operations, analytics, finance, technology, and other enterprise teams to translate growth strategy into effective execution.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the national field sales and growth strategy.
  • Lead regional and market field sales teams accountable for new-patient growth.
  • Establish performance goals and actively manage sales results, productivity, lead-funnel performance, and other key metrics.
  • Oversee national relationships with FMOs, broker organizations, health plans, community organizations, retailers, and other strategic partners.
  • Partner with divisional and market leaders to develop and execute local growth plans.
  • Lead Sales Operations, including sales processes, training and onboarding, incentive compensation, CRM, reporting, analytics, and associate development.
  • Use data to improve channel performance, resource allocation, customer acquisition cost, and return on growth investments.
  • Oversee workforce planning, budgets, sales-enablement investments, and growth-related technology.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support new-market launches and expansion initiatives.
  • Represent the Growth organization in cross-functional and external partnerships.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Significant progressive experience in sales, growth, sales operations, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Experience leading leaders and geographically distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading a field sales or comparable go-to-market organization.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and performance management.
  • Strong financial, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead across functions.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.
  • Commitment to improving the consumer experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in Medicare Advantage, value-based care, or senior-focused primary care.
  • Established relationships with FMOs, brokers, call centers, health plans, or other Medicare growth partners.
  • Experience scaling a multistate sales organization.
  • Experience with new-market launches, acquisitions, or organizational integration.
  • Experience leading sales technology or process transformation.

In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
