Department Summary

The VP of HRBP leads the enterprise HR business partner function, serving as the primary connector between business strategy and workforce execution. This role oversees a team of senior HRBPs aligned to core functions or business units and ensures people strategies directly support performance, growth, and transformation objectives.

The VP of HRBP is accountable for organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, and AI-enabled productivity-ensuring HR partnership drives measurable business impact.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Executive Partnership & Strategy
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, operating models, and workforce strategy.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable talent and capability plans.
  • Partner on financial alignment including headcount modeling, productivity targets, and org design decisions.
  • Lead workforce planning cycles tied to annual and long-range planning.

Organizational Effectiveness
  • Lead org design efforts including restructures, span-of-control modeling, and role clarity initiatives.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
  • Coach senior leaders on performance management, team effectiveness, and change leadership.
  • Align performance expectations with business outcomes and accountability standards.

AI & Workforce Transformation
  • Guide leaders on AI-driven role redesign, productivity modeling, and capability shifts.
  • Ensure responsible use of AI in talent decisions with clear governance and compliance guardrails.
  • Partner cross-functionally to assess workforce impact of automation and emerging technologies.
  • Upskill HRBPs to leverage analytics and AI tools for higher-quality decision-making.

Talent & Performance Management
  • Oversee performance management frameworks and calibration processes.
  • Drive leadership assessment and bench strength planning.
  • Support high-impact talent moves across the enterprise.
  • Address organizational risk including retention, engagement, and capability gaps.

HRBP Team Leadership
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing HRBP team.
  • Establish clear service models and partnership expectations with business leaders.
  • Define metrics for HRBP effectiveness and business impact.
  • Ensure strong alignment with COEs (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Employee Relations).

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $200,000.00/Year - $300,000.00/Year
