Position Summary
Thales is seeking a Vice President for our North America GetSAT group in Virginia. In this role, you will provide strategic sales leadership, drive business development efforts, and ensure seamless integration of technical expertise to achieve revenue targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and facilitate growth within the North American market.
Regulatory Compliance Requirements
Must be a U.S. Person as defined in applicable law, or otherwise authorized or eligible for authorization, to access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Key Areas of Responsibility
Managing the territory from a business, service, support perspective
Developing and Implementing sales strategies: Create and execute sales strategies that align with the company's objectives and market trends to drive revenue growth in the North American market.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships to expand market presence and increase sales.
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Leading the technical support domain from pre-sales stages such as demonstrations to customers through implementation, training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and RMA.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or minimum of 15 years of experience in equivalent positions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven track record in sales strategy, business development, and customer relationship management.
Extensive understanding of the satellite communication field, including key players, products, and technology.
Strong background in technical support within the satellite communication industry.
Willingness to travel and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
