Full Job Description
Labcorp is hiring a remote VP, Enterprise Client Solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Digital Transformation & Process Automation
  • Build and execute a multi-year technology roadmap for proposals, contracts, and commercial operations.
  • Accelerate adoption of AI, workflow automation, knowledge management, and digital tools that improve productivity and quality.
  • Eliminate manual and redundant activities through process redesign and automation.
  • Create capacity and scalability without relying primarily on headcount growth.
  • Establish data, metrics, and predictive insights that drive continuous improvement.

2. Elevate Proposal & Contract Management into Strategic Solution Design
  • Shift Proposal Managers from information coordinators to solution architects and commercial consultants.
  • Enhance Contract Managers' role as strategic negotiators and risk advisors.
  • Develop deeper business, therapeutic, operational, and financial acumen across the organization.
  • Embed these teams earlier in opportunity strategy and solution development.
  • Increase their influence on win rates, deal quality, and client satisfaction.

3. Commercial Excellence & Client Experience
  • Reduce proposal and contract cycle times while improving consistency and quality.
  • Create a seamless client journey from opportunity qualification through contracting and execution.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Delivery.
  • Drive standardization where appropriate while maintaining flexibility for strategic opportunities.

4. Organizational Capability & Talent Development
  • Build a high-performing team equipped with modern commercial, technical, and consulting capabilities.
  • Establish clear career pathways and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking.
  • Develop future leaders who can operate effectively across complex global commercial environments
  • Provide supervisory oversight to direct reports (e.g., training, performance evaluation, workload leveling, project allocation, compliance to process and metrics, recruitment and selection of new employees, trouble shooting and issue resolution)


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in business or life sciences.
  • 15 or more years' experience in the pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry
  • 10 or more years' experience in proposal/contract management in the pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
  • 9 or more years leadership experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.

The VP, Enterprise Client Solutions will modernize and transform the organization into a technology-enabled commercial center of excellence, leveraging AI, automation, and process innovation to drive efficiency and scalability while elevating Proposal and Contract Management professionals into strategic solution architects and trusted client advisors. This leader will enable faster growth, enhanced client experiences, and increased organizational capacity without proportional headcount expansion, ensuring Enterprise Client Solutions becomes a competitive differentiator for Labcorp's Biopharma Laboratory Services business.

In the role, you will transform Enterprise Client Solutions into a technology-enabled, highly scalable commercial engine that accelerates growth, enhances client experience, and positions Proposals and Contracts teams as strategic advisors who architect customer solutions rather than simply process transactions.

The VP will lead the evolution of Enterprise Client Solutions by leveraging innovative technologies, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and data-driven decision making to improve efficiency, increase organizational capacity, and enhance commercial effectiveness. Working across Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, and Commercial Operations, this leader will build a future-state operating model that reduces administrative burden, shortens proposal and contract cycle times, improves quality and consistency, and enables the organization to scale without proportional increases in headcount.

At the same time, the VP will elevate the capabilities and impact of the team by transforming Proposal Managers and Contract Managers into strategic commercial partners. These professionals will be equipped to engage earlier in the sales process, understand client objectives, develop integrated and differentiated solutions, anticipate operational and contractual risks, and help shape winning commercial strategies. Rather than serving primarily as coordinators of information, they will be recognized as trusted advisors who contribute directly to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and competitive differentiation.

Pay Range $265,000 - $295,000 annually + annual bonus and equity eligibility.

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
