Overview

Cotiviti is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Communications to lead and modernize the company’s global communications function at a transformational moment in its evolution. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications strategy spanning external communications, media relations, executive visibility, thought leadership, social media, internal communications, employee engagement, issues management, and corporate reputation. Working closely with the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, CEO, executive leadership team, and business leaders across the organization, this individual will help define, amplify, and protect the company’s reputation while building a modern communications function capable of supporting a high-growth enterprise and future public company.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy aligned to company growth objectives, market positioning, customer engagement, and enterprise priorities
  • Partner with the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and executive leadership team to shape and advance the company's corporate narrative
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Establish communications as a strategic business function that drives enterprise value, market differentiation, and organizational alignment
  • Build communications programs that support long term corporate objectives, including capital markets readiness, category leadership, and corporate reputation
  • Lead all proactive and reactive media engagement strategies
  • Build and strengthen relationships with national business media, healthcare trade media, technology media, industry influencers, analysts, and content creators
  • Develop integrated earned media programs that elevate Cotiviti's visibility and thought leadership position
  • Oversee issues management, crisis communications, reputation management, and executive communications support
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership during high profile corporate events, announcements, acquisitions, and business transformations
  • Develop and execute executive communications strategies for the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Drive speaking opportunities, media interviews, podcasts, conference participation, and thought leadership programs
  • Build executive platforms that strengthen the company's visibility among customers, investors, policymakers, analysts, and industry stakeholders
  • Create compelling content and narratives that position Cotiviti leaders as trusted voices on healthcare, artificial intelligence, interoperability, payment accuracy, quality, and healthcare infrastructure
  • Own the enterprise social media strategy across all corporate and executive channels
  • Build a modern content engine that leverages video, multimedia, executive content, customer stories, industry commentary, and real time market engagement
  • Partner with Brand, Creative, and Digital teams to ensure social channels function as strategic business assets
  • Establish measurement frameworks tied to engagement, audience growth, share of voice, and business impact
  • Expand executive visibility and influence through coordinated social activation programs
  • Lead enterprise internal communications strategy supporting organizational alignment, employee engagement, cultural transformation, and business performance
  • Develop executive communication programs that connect employees to company strategy, priorities, and performance
  • Oversee leadership communications, employee campaigns, town halls, culture initiatives, and change management programs
  • Build communication frameworks that support a highly connected, informed, and engaged workforce
  • Partner closely with Human Resources and executive leadership on employee experience initiatives
  • Build and manage the company's formal spokesperson program
  • Identify, train, and support executive and subject matter expert spokespeople across the enterprise
  • Establish governance processes for media engagement, speaking opportunities, analyst interactions, and external communications activities
  • Ensure message consistency and strategic alignment across all externalrepresentationof the company
  • Lead and develop a high performing communications organization spanning external communications, social media, internal communications, content, and executive communications
  • Establish operational rigor, planning processes, measurement frameworks, and communications best practices
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Manage agency relationships, external partners, budgets, and communications investments
  • Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture thatis able toassist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading corporate communications for a large healthcare, technology, software, data, or highly regulated organization
  • Demonstrated success advising CEOs and senior executive teams
  • Significant experience across media relations, executive communications, thought leadership, social media, and internal communications
  • Proven ability to lead communications through periods of transformation, growth, acquisitions, organizational change, or public company readiness
  • Strong understanding of healthcare, technology, data, artificial intelligence, or enterprise software markets
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, presentation, and strategic communications skills
  • Experience managing crises, complex stakeholder environments, and high visibility corporate issues
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high performing teams

Base compensation ranges from $185,000.00 to $250,000.00. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
